Dear Visitor (hereinafter, “You” or the “User”),
This website www.enervit.com (hereinafter, the “Site”) is owned by ENERVIT S.P.A., the registered office for which is located at Viale Achille Papa, 30 – 20149 Milan (Italy), VAT no.: 02375691034 (hereinafter, “We” or the “Company”).
Since what are known as ‘cookies’ are used on our Site for a variety of reasons, in this disclosure we would like to explain to you what cookies are and how they are used on the Site.
Some cookies (our own cookies or ‘first-party cookies’) are set up and controlled directly by us. The Company uses these cookies to collect and process certain aspects of your personal information. In this disclosure, we explain how we collect this data, what it is used for and what your rights are.
Other cookies (‘third-party cookies’) are, instead, set up and controlled by third parties. In this disclosure you will find links to third-party disclosures, which we would ask you please to read carefully.
A. What cookies are and what their purpose is
Cookies are small text files that the websites visited by the user send directly to the user’s terminal (in the browser, typically), where they are stored and subsequently uploaded back to the same websites the
next time the same user visits them (first-party cookies). While navigating a website, the user’s terminal may also receive cookies from other websites and web servers (third-party cookies). This takes place because the website being visited may contain elements such as – for example – images, maps, sounds, and specific links to web pages from other domains on different servers different than that of the requested page. These cookies, in other words, are controlled by a different website than the one you are actually visiting.
The duration of cookies may be limited to a single navigation session on the browser (session cookies), in
which case they are automatically disabled when the user closes the browser. They may have a predefined time limit, alternatively, in which case they are stored and enabled on your hard disk until their expiration date and continue to collect information over the course of multiple navigation sessions on the browser (persistent cookies).
Cookies are used for several different functions. Some are needed to make it possible for you to navigate the Site and enjoy its features (technical cookies). Others are used to gather statistical information, in aggregated or non-aggregated form, on the number of users who access the Site and on how the Site is being used (monitoring or analytics cookies). Others, lastly, are used to track your consumer profile and display advertisements on the Site that might be of interest to you, since they are consistent with your tastes and your consumer habits (targeting cookies).
The personal data collected by cookies for targeting purposes is processed for a maximum of 12 months after consent is received for the processing.
To learn more about these various types of cookies, keep reading this disclosure. Learn how they work and what they are used for, and make your own decision whether to allow their use or to block them.
B. Technical cookies
Technical cookies are by this Site for the sole purpose of allowing you to navigate the Site possible and enabling you to use its features. These are always first-party cookies, because we set them up directly on the Site ourselves.
Some technical cookies are essential for providing you the best navigation experience or for enabling the confirmation of your identity on the website, in order to, for example, make a purchase on the Site or enter your reserved area (navigation cookies). Navigation cookies are usually session cookies, which means they are automatically disabled when you close your browser.
Other technical cookies are used to store some of your preferences (e.g., language, the country you are in) so that they do not need to be entered again during subsequent visits (functionality cookies). This is why functionality cookies are often persistent cookies, which means they are stored on your computer even after you close the browser, up until their expiration date or until you decide to delete them.
The following technical cookies are currently used by the Site:
Name of the Cookie Category of the cookie Function of the cookie
. JSESSIONID – session Stores user status between
. PHPSESSID – session Stores user status between
As per the current legislation on privacy, the installation of these types of cookies does not require your prior consent. You are still free, of course, to block the installation of technical cookies by changing your browser settings (see section E, no. 1, to find out how to do this). Keep in mind, however, that by blocking the installation of technical cookies, or by deleting them afterwards, you may jeopardize your ability to use some or all the Site, to enable and disable certain functions and to receive specific services.
C. Monitoring or “analytics” cookies The Site uses analytics cookies to collect statistical information, in aggregated and non-aggregated form, on the number of users who access the Site and on how they visit the Site itself.
The analytics cookies of this Site are third-party cookies. The fact that they are not set up by us ourselves but instead by third parties means that they are installed directly by third parties, not by the Company.
The following third-party analytics cookies are cannot be installed on the Site without your prior consent because they are not rendered anonymous, which means that these third parties can access the disaggregated analytics data at the level of the IP address (third parties, in other words, could hypothetically use these cookies to determine your identity through IP address):

D. Targeting cookies
Most targeting cookies are, instead, installed by third parties acting in their capacity as independent data controllers. Below is a list of the third-party targeting cookies currently in use on the Site, along with an indication of the link to the disclosure pages created by their developers:

E. How to manage cookies and block their usage
There are several options for managing, disabling and deleting cookies.
(1) Change your browser settings
Follow the instructions provided by the producer of the browser you use to discover how to manage,
disable or delete all cookies (technical, analytics and targeting):
Be careful while choosing your options. Blocking the reception of all cookies, including technical ones, without providing a specific exception for the Site may in fact prevent you from navigating on the Site or using some or all of its features. In addition, deleting all cookies from the browser could also remove the technical cookies and, as a result, could remove preferences you have already set for the Site or make it difficult to find products or services you already added to your cart.
(2) Use our interactive tools or tools supplied by the third parties to disable first-party targeting cookies, which are the ones installed directly by us, simply use the interactive button mentioned in section D of this disclosure. Your decision to block the use of these cookies will not affect your opportunity to navigate the Site and use its features, and may still be revoked by you using the same interactive button at any time. To disable third-party cookies, consult the privacy disclosures of the third parties installing analytics cookies (see section C, above) or targeting cookies (see section D, above) to learn about the other tools available for you to manage, disable or delete the cookies, and to prevent their use in general.
Remember that by disabling third-party cookies, (i) you block their use not just on the Site, but also on every other website that uses those specific cookies, and (ii) the possibility to navigate on the Site and to use its features will not be affected in any way. Even with third-party cookies are disabled you will still see the banner about cookies on the home page. In this case, however, by closing the banner, scrolling down the home page or clicking on any home page element outside the banner, you will not receive any of the third-party cookies you properly disabled.
(3) Use the website www.youronlinechoices.eu/it/
Your Online Choices is a website managed by the non-profit association European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance (EDAA), the Italian version of which is found at www.youronlinechoices.eu/it/, which supplies information about behavioural targeting based on targeting cookies
(http://www.youronlinechoices.com/it/a-proposito) and makes it easy for internet users to prevent (opt-out) installation of the main targeting cookies installed by advertisers and used on websites (http://www.youronlinechoices.com/it/le-tue-scelte). Before using this tool, we suggest that you carefully
read the general conditions of service for the Your Online Choices (http://www.youronlinechoices.com/it/condizioni-generali-di-servizio) website, the frequently asked
questions (FAQ) (http://www.youronlinechoices.com/it/faqs) and the user guide (http://www.youronlinechoices.com/it/help).
Use Your Online Choices with care and awareness. While Your Online Choices does indeed combine many of the biggest cookie-using companies in the advertising world, not every third-party installer of cookies on the Site is necessarily a member of Your Online Choices. Your use of Your Online Choices, therefore, cannot guarantee that third-party cookies will not be active while navigating on the Site. Remember, furthermore, that when you delete all cookies from your browser, the technical cookies that Your Online Choices uses to remember your options may also be deleted, thus enabling third-party cookies once again.
